Strawberries from Baguio and cookies are a match made in heaven. 

More so, when it's Scout's Honor.

After being graciously treated to two boxes of Scout's Honor, my family had the week of their lives, as everyone was munching on strawberries and cookies everyday. The toaster oven's usual "Ding!" became more exciting and special, as each "Ding!" meant that a warm, gooey and chewy cookie was awaiting to be eaten.

In yet another super overdue post, I am super thankful once again to MILO for having sent over a year's supply of MILO Nutri-Up!!! I can attest to the one year supply part because we really did take up almost a year, and we still haven't finished up the contents of the box they sent.

I'm so sorry world!!! When I did the draft for this post, it was to be entitled 'What's New at Le Petit Soufflé', but since this is still from September last year, I now have to entitle it as 'Memories at Soufflé'. I got so busy with work from then on that I barely had time for anything else. I got to the point where I barely even left the house because of how hectic my schedule got!

Food News: Last Call to be the First-ever Choice of the Nation!

Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) Philippines and Lady’s Choice® are in search for the best mayo dip recipe in the country that will be the first-ever ‘Choice of the Nation’. In this one-of-a-kind culinary competition, chefs and cooks from all over the country are challenged to whip up delectable mayo dips that will win the Filipino diners’ approval. Entries are welcome until July 31 only!

How you can be the Choice of the Nation?

‘Choice of the Nation’ is open to all chefs and cooks in the Philippines. Participants simply have to whip up one (1) special dip recipe using Lady’s Choice® Real Mayonnaise and upload it with 1-3 photos of the dish on www.ladyschoiceofthenation.com until July 31, 2018.

All submitted dip recipes will be qualified for the online voting period for diners which will run from August 1 to 31, 2018. The chefs/cooks of the top ten recipes that will accumulate the highest votes will showcase their dip innovations at the Choice of the Nation cook-off on September 13, 2018. Esteemed set of judges such as Chef Fernando Aracama, Chef Rob Pengson, Chef Sau del Rosario, Chef Kalel Chan and Chef Joanne Gendrano will select the first-ever Choice of the Nation winner together with Filipino diners who will also cast their votes on-site.

The Choice of the Nation champion will bag a cash prize of P100,000, including free publicity features and a special gift pack from UFS and Lady’s Choice.
